Life in the Trenches

Dear Family,

It is the 5th of November, 1917. We are dealing with the reality of the oncoming winter here in France. To give you a better understanding of my life, I will share what life is like on a daily basis living here in the trench. I also will try to depict what it is like when I go into battle. Life in the trench is horrible. The trench is infested by rats and cockroaches. When we are sleeping rats crawl next to us and sometimes bite us and infect us. They would also infect our food. Don’t even let me talk about the blisters I have on my feet. Water is always getting to our knees because of the rain. All my extra pairs of socks got cut and now I only have one more. Sometimes I can’t even walk due to the pain I have on my feet. I’m so tired and I feel so dirty. I’d like to escape from this life and come back to you. The worse thing that happens is the time when battles start. Dead bodies are all around you. Once you are on the battlefield you are on your own, you can’t even heat what people saying because of all the noise the guns and grenades are making. I remember the day a grenade exploded in front of me and people flying in the sky. Another weapon that I fear in the battlefield is the machine gun. One day I was behind this soldier that was shot by a machine gun his body was full of holes, but the thing that would scare you to death is the idea of someone with a Flamethrower approaching the trench. He can burn into ashes the whole trench in seconds.

Love YOU,

AchTheFach

Ps: If I die accept it.

The Loraf Cleaning Equipment Company

Dear Mr. Buffet,

My colleague and I would like to start a new company called Loraf Cleaning Equipments

Company(LCEC). This company would create cleaning equipments such as brooms, gloves,

water scrapers and buckets. All of these equipments would be made out of recycled plastic

water bottles.

We already thought of were to build our factories. We are looking towards countries with

low wages such as Morocco, China, Algeria and Russia.

We want to sell our products in Europe as much as possible because it would be very

beneficial. We can make a great amount of profit from this original and cheap idea.

Our project is very ecological because we would recycle plastic which is one of the biggest

world pollutant. People all over the world will be willing to buy our product to be part of a

recycling project.

Unfortunately, we are in need of money to start this project which is why we send this letter

to you. We heard that you were willing to help people develop new ideas and we were hopping

you would like to help ours.

Our project isn't very expensive, the creation of our products is actually very cheap because

it is made out of recycled plastics. We are thinking of collecting them from local recycling bins

or schools. The only thing we would need help with, would be, to start the project so that we can

have enough money to pay all of the workers (which would be the local population because it

would be a mess to bring people from outside the country to move in and work in your company.)

We will need a large amount of money to be able to start running our factories and to buy our ovens.

We will open a factory in Algeria, China, Russia and maybe one in Afghanistan if the security is

renforced. My colleague and I will also try to open another factory in Morocco, but we will wait until

2012 when there will enter a era of Globalization. Which means Morocco will have no taxes on

foreign companies.

Thank you for your understand and we hope to hear from you soon,

"Revolutions" in Morocco?

Hey, Readers. Many people are saying that Morocco is a pour country with no industrial or/and technological revolutions. You guys shouldn’t' even ask yourself this Question. The answer is yes, yes and yes. Morocco in these past 10 years developed hugely and has gone through many Industrial Revolutions and Technological Revolutions.

First of all in the Technology branch internet in Morocco is much modernized and is about the same level the US has. The only thing is that wire-less everywhere still doesn’t work with all phones. Internet is very fast. Morocco also has 3G+ Modems, which allow a computer to access internet in 99% of Morocco if using the line of Wana, a new agency for communication owned by L'ONA, or the line of Maroc Telecom. Meditel has faster 3G+ internet than the other but not more than 40% of Morocco. Moroccans are able to learn and expand their knowledge thanks to the modern internet. Communication with foreign countries became cheaper than before.

Then comes all what is manufactured. Morocco doesn't manufacture that much but exports. 2 years ago a car brand started to become manufactured in Morocco. Dacia is the brand. Dacia is a car for the average person. More brands from foreign countries of the Bourgeoisie class came and open in Morocco. From clothing to food to watches and jewelry. Rolex, Chopard, Le Nôtre, Cartier, Dior and Fauchan... are brands that and average person can't afford. Morocco has many rich people that buy this and contribute to the economy. In 2012 more brand will come in because Morocco will enter and era of Globalization.

Other projects have been presented to Morocco like Transportation or Buisnesses. These things will not be discussed in our blog post because as I said they are Projects.

But a new way of transporation that already appeared in Morocco 50 years ago and will reapear hopefully in 2015 is the TRAM. The TRAM serves as bus does but reduces Pollution in the air and maybe reduce the number of Cars.
